I've come to find creation through destruction, and you had your own way of finding peace through tragedy, a sense of clarity in knowing time will end. It's been a year since you left and not one day has passed where you haven't crossed my mind. I walked down your path today, the indian ladder trail where your ashes lay, instead of a cemetery or grave, we share a perfect place and it's nice out here today, sun is shining, skies aren't gray, leaves' colors will start to change, but things will never be the same without you, I'm writing you, and I just wanted to say that I cherish each and every day we spent together. Always remember the good and the bad we faced and how you left me changed for the better. I can honestly say you make me believe there's meaning to life that I didn't know before and I will always keep that with me for the rest of my days.
